The global average air temperature near the Earth's
surface rose about 0.75C during the last 100 years. The Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes it as "most of the
observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th
century is very likely due to the increase in anthropogenic greenhouse
gas concentrations". Simply speaking, even as we are producing
greenhouse gas (mainly carbon dioxide: CO2) emission more than before,
the forests - that can absorb CO2 and carbon-fixing by its photosynthesis
- have been decreased, resulting in global warming and the rising
of temperatures world wide.
So, how can we prevent global warming and keep our society
developing? Carbon-Circulating Agriculture is one of the convincing
answers on this matter. We can try to solve the problem through it,
but much investment is needed to set up this Carbon-Circulating Agriculture.
